Course Detail: The Letter of Intent (LOI) is a non-binding legal document that is the tool to open discussion about the first offer on the property made on behalf of the Tenant. It is not meant to take the place of a Lease Agreement, but is designed to open negotiations about basic terms such as lease rates, lease terms, maintenance and repairs and other terms. In this course, you will understand the Letter of Intent format, how to get prepared to draft the Letter of Intent, your professional duties you owe to your client, and a section by section review of all the terms on the Letter of Intent.
